Bastet Artisan Experience - Bar Manager

A brand new Fusion & Bar Restaurant in Larnaca is looking for a passionate, well-mannered and customer-focused Bar Manager with strong communication skills, formal appearance and an ability to work in a fast-paced environment. The candidate should have at least 4 years of experience in a similar position.
Duties and responsibilities:
- Scheduling bar tenders according to changes in customer demand.
- Scheduling responsibilities for inventory control.
- Rescheduling tasks to cover for absent employees.
- Organizing shifts.
- Allocating cleaning tasks.
- Monitor inventory of beverages to ensure adequate stock is maintained and to prevent excess pours or abuse by staff. Requisition purchases as needed.
- Oversee cleanliness of staff and physical bar area, paying special attention to possible health hazards and code violations.
- Review sales and beverage costs, and reconcile any discrepancies in accounting. Ensure proper cash management.
- Resolve customer complaints promptly and according to company guidelines.
- Oversee the preparation of beverages and ensure quality of product served.
Requirements:
- 4 years of experience in similar role
- Proven customer service experience as a manager
- Extensive beverage (F&B) knowledge, with ability to remember and recall ingredients to inform customers and wait staff
- Strong leadership, motivational and people skills
- Financial management skills
- Familiarity with restaurant management software
- Knowledge of Greek and English is a must
- Degree in Business Administration or Hospitality management will be considered an advantage.
